Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian international relief organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. One of the ways Samaritan’s Purse Canada has had open doors to share the gospel is through the shoe box gift program of Operation Christmas Child.
The Regional Manager will be responsible for recruiting, developing and encouraging significant teams of volunteers to grow participation in and support for the OCC program for the purpose of increasing the Gospel opportunities for children around the world. The individual will also connect and work with Christian churches and schools and other like-minded communities, representing OCC and SPC in the region. As an integral member of the OCC Team, this role will help SPC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.
The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time permanent role in a home-based office in Lower Mainland, BC, with flexibility for candidates living as far east as Abbotsford, BC. Consideration will also be given to applicants living in Calgary, AB, with a willingness to travel occasionally to the region. The hiring range for this position is $59,000 - $65,000 with annual adjustments as part of SPC’s regular review process. The base pay may vary depending on the candidate’s region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including life insurance, medical/dental and short-term/long-term disability, RRSP contributions after one year of employment, and 15 vacation days per year to start.
