Job summary

AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere, AB is seeking a Nursing Unit Clerk to coordinate the daily staffing for the Nursing Department and support a safe, resident-centered environment in our long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing of the Nursing Department.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
• Update Master Schedule and daily compliments for staffing.
• Obtain overtime approval from the Director of Care.
• Monitor attendance and communicate absenteeism trends.
