Job summary

Decisive Farming by TELUS Agriculture in Ottawa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our onsite services team for the annual flu vaccination campaign. This casual, part-time role offers daytime shifts Monday to Friday, with 20+ hours per week and no evenings or weekends.

The nurse will be responsible for providing vaccination during the annual flu campaign from October through December. Working with a customer service oriented team, you will provide a rewarding patient experience with empathy, discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

You have

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Current registration and license in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• CPR certification up to date
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector)
• Ready to travel to the client site
• Valid driver’s license and have access to a car
• Need to be comfortable speaking French
• Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment
• Professionalism and strong judgment
• Assiduity, autonomy, punctuality, discretion, interpersonal skills
• Ability to make decisions

Great-to-haves

• ACLS certification
• Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset
