Job summary

Decisive Farming by TELUS Agriculture is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Onsite services team in Calgary. The role centers on administering influenza vaccines during the annual flu campaign and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

The position is casual, part-time with daytime shifts (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), Monday to Friday, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week. Travel to client sites and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current registration and practice permit in good standing with the CRNA.
• CPR certification up to date.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administer influenza vaccines to patients.
• Inform patients of vaccine side effects.

QualificationsYou have

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Current registration and practice permit in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
• CPR certification up to date
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector)
• Ready to travel to the client site
• Valid driver’s license and have access to a car
• Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment
• Professionalism and strong judgment
• Assiduity, autonomy, punctuality, discretion, interpersonal skills
• Ability to make decisions

Great-to-haves

• ACLS certification
• Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset
• Computer skills are an asset (EMR, Power Point, Excel, Word)
