Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Onsite services team in Calgary. This part-time, casual role requires daytime shifts Mon-Fri, with options for half-day or full-day schedules, and occasional travel to client sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Current CRNA registration with Alberta College in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public).
  • Willingness to travel to client site and valid driver’s license.
  • Interest in customer service and corporate work environment.

Location: Calgary
Employment status: Casual, Part-time (work hours may vary upon needs, must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. No evening or weekend shifts.)

Schedule:Daytime shifts only, Monday to Friday. Shifts may vary based on operational needs and will consist of either:

  • Half-day shifts: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Full-day shifts: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The nurse will be responsible for providing vaccination during the annual flu campaign from Octoberthrough December. Working with a customer service oriented team, you will provide a rewarding patientexperience with empathy, discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities include:

  • Informing patients of the side effects of vaccination
  • Implementing emergency measures, as required
  • Compile and inventory vaccines administered
  • In depth knowledge of current guidelines, practice standards and medical directives
  • Communicate and work effectively with all other members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and results focused attitude
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactive/preventative approaches to care
Qualifications

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Current registration and practice permit in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses ofAlberta (CRNA)
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector)
  • Ready to travel to the client site
  • Valid driver’s license and have access to a car
  • Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment
  • Professionalism and strong judgment
  • Assiduity, autonomy, punctuality, discretion, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make decisions

Great-to-haves

  • ACL certification
  • Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset
  • Computer skills are an asset (EMR, Power Point, Excel, Word)

Salary Range: $35-$61
