Job Overview -

As a Nurse Case Manager at SRx Health Solutions your primary responsibility would be to coordinate the care and treatment of patients with complex medical conditions who require specialty medication. You would work closely with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive high-quality care that is tailored to their individual needs.

What you will be doing, including, but not limited to:

• Initial data gathering from patients during consultation
• Completion of clinic notes
• Treating various conditions as trained related to the Rheumatology and Dermatology specialties
• Administering injections as trained
• Apply liquid nitrogen as trained
• Completing photodynamic therapy as trained
• Patient education & management of a variety of conditions related to Rheumatology and Dermatology as trained
• Apply anesthetic to patients as trained
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments as trained
• Counselling as trained
• Preparing supplies for procedures as indicated by doctor
• Wound care
• Assisting with clinical trials as trained
• Communicating results to patients as trained
• Stocking medical rooms
  
  
  

Job Specifications & Qualifications

• Proof of valid nursing or medical license in the appropriate jurisdiction with current Nursing Registration .
• Proof of valid professional liability insurance coverage, renewed on an annual basis.
• Clinical Background: Previous experience in a clinical setting considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Biologics: Familiarity with biologic medications and therapies assets.
• Completed education from an accredited nursing school or medical program.
• Continuous education and professional development in their field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Knowledgeable about standard precautions, isolation procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Understands and adheres to ethical principles and professional standards of practice.
• No. of years of exp. - 1-5 years
• Specialty - Dermatology & Rheumatology
• Travel requirements/ work setting - On site, Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
