Job summary

Aecon Concessions in Bowmanville, ON, leads the Darlington New Nuclear Project alliance, supervising Superintendents, Project Coordinators, General Foremen and SMEs on shift. You will monitor plans, manage risks, interface with client representatives, and enforce QA and safety programs on site to keep the project on track.

The role requires 10+ years of supervision experience in major projects and strong ability to read construction drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years construction and subcontractor supervision experience.
• Experience in managing major refurbishment or complex nuclear projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Superintendents, Project Coordinators, General Foremen and Subject Matter Experts executing on shift.
• Monitor plans/schedules and identify risks and issues.
• Interface with OPG Work Coordinator and Construction Oversight.
• Create collaboration and partnering with OPG, Engineering, Quality, and the OCC.
• Communicate escalation and progress to the OCC Manager as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality and human performance programs are enforced on site.
• Ensure project procedures and policies are followed by project personnel.
