Job summary

New Flyer, North America’s heavy‑duty transit bus leader, seeks a New Product Introduction Launch Manager to oversee end‑to‑end product launches from design to market introduction. You will coordinate with cross‑functional teams and manage timelines to ensure successful launches.

You will lead the PDP/NPI, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Tooling and Sourcing, manage risks, uphold quality plans, participate in NDI meetings, ensure BOM integrity, provide manufacturability

Qualifications

8+ years in a Manufacturing, Automotive or Aerospace Design function.
University degree in engineering, business, or supply chain is required.
Proficient with MS Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

Lead PDP/NPI and manage end-to-end launch processes with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Tooling and Sourcing to execute launches.
Identify risks and implement strategies for successful, on‑time launches.
Oversee quality plans, audit readiness, and compliance during launches.
Participate in NDI meetings to address issues and verify BOM structures.
Provide manufacturability feedback on designs and BOMs for U.S. and Canada.
Support sales with launch-related customer information.
Coordinate cut-in timelines and prepare market rollout across plants.
Lead full project transition with KPI summaries and risk dispositions.
Identify special processes or new systems and drive early builds and fixes.
Work with Supplier Development to align with manufacturing standards.
