Job summary

Trudell Medical International in London, Ontario seeks a Manager, NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION to lead a team of NPI specialists, project managers, and technical professionals. You will own the NPI process end-to-end, driving speed, innovation, and robust manufacturing solutions to ensure market-ready products.

Responsibilities include people management, product development, and manufacturing launch execution with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, QA, RA, and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product development experience in medical devices or related industry.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience managing complex PD projects with proven launches.
• Experience in ISO 13485 regulated environment.
• Experience with plastics components for high-volume injection molding.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Stage Gate product development process experience.
• Ability to articulate problems and viable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI specialists, project managers and technical professionals; drive speed, innovation and robust manufacturing solutions.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams (Product Development, QA, RA, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Marketing, Finance).
• Oversee project budgets, roadmaps and phase-gate milestones; ensure on-time, on-cost launches.
• Provide mentorship and development plans; foster continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Ensure regulatory alignment with design controls and ISO 13485 requirements.
