Job summary

Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley is hiring a Nordic Retail Advisor to join our Guest Services team for the winter season. You’ll help guests find Nordic equipment, apparel and accessories, provide expert recommendations, and create a welcoming retail experience.

This temporary full-time role requires weekend/evening availability, reliable winter transportation, and a BC driver’s license. Wage is $22.50 per hour plus commission, with affordable staff housing available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail, merchandising and customer service experience in sporting goods/outdoor environment.
• Genuine interest in outdoor gear and Nordic sport.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a friendly, memorable retail experience.
• Help guests select Nordic equipment, apparel and accessories based on needs and experience level.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on Nordic products including skis, boots and poles.
• Assist with equipment fitting and sizing.
• Process purchases, returns and exchanges accurately at the POS.
