Job summary

Whistler Olympic Park is hiring a Lead, Guest Services to guide daily Guest Services operations at the Whistler Olympic Park in Callaghan Valley. The role oversees bookings, sales and front-line operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience with strong team leadership.

The position is temporary full-time with affordable staff housing available. Must be flexible to work weekends/evenings and have reliable winter transportation. Start date November 2, 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous Guest Services experience.
• Excellent in-person and telephone customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working in a busy environment with multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and composure under pressure.
• Positive, adaptable, can-do approach.
• Computer skills; experience with booking and scheduling software preferred.
• Retail, merchandising or ski rental experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, biathlon, or sport operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to the Guest Services team, coordinating daily activities and priorities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with guest experience as the priority.
• Support training and foster a positive, collaborative environment for colleagues and volunteers.
• Assist guests with information, bookings, products and services including day tickets, season passes, rentals, retail, and instructional programs.
• Respond to inquiries via telephone, email, online, and in person.
• Handle guest questions and complaints with empathy and solutions.
• Support program bookings and schedules.
• Process transactions using the POS system and assist with daily cashier duties.
• Help track inventory and merchandise for retail and rentals.
• Support rental and retail shop operations as required.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth venue operations.
• Maintain Guest Services and Day Lodge areas and displays.
• Support special events and other operations as needed.
• Uphold the AIM – All Interactions Matter philosophy.
