AIM Recycling, a division of American Iron & Metal (AIM), is seeking a Non-Ferrous Receiver Labourer for our Victoriaville location. The role focuses on receiving, sorting, and handling non-ferrous metals in a primarily indoor setting with some outdoor tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience operating a forklift or similar equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of non-ferrous metals is an asset.
• Comfort with manual and physical work.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Responsible, punctual, resourceful, and safety-conscious.
• Enjoys collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and follow established procedures.
• Unload, sort, and identify different types of non-ferrous metals.
• Weigh and classify materials and enter information into the system.
• Prepare incoming and outgoing material shipments.
• Operate the forklift safely.
• Keep the work area, equipment, and workplace clean and in good condition.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Wear the required PPE and perform other related duties.
