Job summary

Grand River Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Millwright for the night shift. Work from 10:30pm to 7:30am, Monday to Friday, with some weekend overtime.

You will install, repair, and maintain production equipment, troubleshoot during downtime, and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, and MSDS. The role requires a valid Ontario Millwright license, 2–5 years in industrial mechanical work, and experience with welding (TIG/ARC) and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Valid Millwright license with proof of apprenticeship.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and controls.
• 2–5 years' industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of health & safety and environmental regulations; adherence to Food Safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain all production-related equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting and support during downtime events.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance to improve asset health.
• Maintain records in CMMS and collaborate with maintenance planner.
• Identify continuous improvement ideas and promote workplace safety.
