Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our Edmonton, AB facility on a night shift schedule from 3pm to 1:30am. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment including conveyors and electronics, using computer systems to document repairs. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Millwright Apprentices Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Operate tools, equipment, and machinery according to company safety procedures.
• Preform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on conveyors, electronics, and electronic motors.
• Use various computer systems to record and document repairs and diagnose problems.
• Inspections on stationary equipment (greasing, oil changes, minor repairs).
• Repair and part sourcing.
• Minor welding/fabrication of equipment.
