Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Airdrie, Alberta, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. You will troubleshoot electrical issues, install and commission machinery, and support ELSS, EBS, and MESH initiatives to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will read schematics, work with CMMS, manage spare parts, and participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Valid Red Seal certificate required (Electrician, Millwright, or Plumber/Gasfitter).
• Experience diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Proficiency with CMMS for maintenance records and parts management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, commission, relocate, and decommission machinery per MOC procedures.
• Maintain CMMS records and manage spare parts inventory.
