Job summary

Sunshine Village Corporation in Banff, AB, Canada, is seeking Front Desk Agents to deliver an outstanding guest experience in a warm, professional setting. You will assist guests with reservations, answer questions, and resolve issues while maintaining public areas and supporting multiple departments throughout the alpine season.

Ideal candidates have hotel or guest service experience, strong communication and cash-handling skills, and the stamina to stand for long periods in a busy ski resort

Qualifications

• Provide quality guest service.
• Assist guests with reservations; know Sunshine Village services.
• Handle challenging guest situations professionally; operate switchboard/dispatch for emergencies.
• Complete accurate daily cash-outs.
• Maintain public areas around the hotel.
• Other duties incl. cross-departmental work in night audit, concierge, and janitorial.
• Passion for guest service.
• Previous hotel/guest service experience.
• Cash handling and computer skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Physically demanding; standing for long periods and some heavy lifting.
• First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service by creating a warm, welcoming environment.
• Answer questions and resolve problems efficiently to meet guest needs.
• Assist guests with reservations and understand Sunshine Village services.
• Handle switchboard and dispatch in emergencies.
