Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator in Calgary to support daily scheduling and dispatching of vehicles for loading docks and deliveries. You will assist the Lineage Transportation Team with coordinating shipments, maintaining orders, and ensuring on-time service in a rotating 4-on/4-off shift from 6pm to 6am.

The role requires at least 2 years of dispatch experience, comfort with dynamic routing, and strong communication and problem‑solving skills to adapt to unforeseen

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Experience in shipping/transportation coordination or related certification preferred.
Basic knowledge of shipping/transportation operations and import/export processes.
Willingness to learn transportation management software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare dispatch schedule for drivers and equipment daily to meet on-time service.
Coordinate with carriers to ensure efficient use of resources.
Use dynamic routing to optimize outbound product routes.
Create and maintain inbound/outbound orders in the dispatch system.
Monitor drivers’ hours to prevent violations and manage workload.
