Job summary

Scandinave Spa Whistler is seeking a diligent Night Cleaner to uphold cleanliness across spa areas while guests rest. The role involves indoor/outdoor cleaning and adherence to high standards, within a collaborative team. Earn an hourly rate of $24.65 with benefits and possible staff accommodation.

Four 10-hour night shifts weekly are available, with emphasis on reliability, attention to detail, and independent work. Prior cleaning experience preferred for this essential night-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cleaning experience.
• Preference for experience in working overnight shifts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and quality of the spa site to the Scandinave Spa standards for guests.
• Ensure indoor areas are impeccably clean, including reception, changing rooms, treatment rooms, and offices.
• Ensure outdoor areas are impeccably clean, including hot pools, saunas, steam rooms, and solariums.
• Maintain all cleaning standards established by the Scandinave Spa Whistler.
• Keep cleaning supplies room tidy, organized and fully stocked.
• Communicate with Night Housekeeping Team Lead/Supervisor regarding supplies and repairs.
• Perform all other tasks for smooth operation of the Spa Scandinave Whistler.

• Ensure to keep cleaning supplies room tidy, organized and fullystocked


• Facilitate clear communication with the Night Housekeeping Team Lead/Supervisor regarding supplies and repairs


• All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Spa Scandinave Whistler

Prerequisites:

• Minimum 1 year cleaning experience


• Preference for experience in working overnight shifts


• Demonstrated ability to wok independently


• Exceptional attention to detail


• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs


• Great communication and interpersonal skills


• Proactive, creative problem-solving skills

• Clear criminal record check
