Job summary

HI Lake Louise offers a night auditor/cleaner role at the Lake Louise hostel in Alberta. You will manage front desk tasks, handle cash, and conduct the night audit while ensuring a quiet, safe environment for guests.

You will also clean public spaces, assist housekeeping, and maintain a clean cafe area to provide a welcoming experience for hostel guests. This is a night-shift, on-site position with staff housing and hosteller perks.

What you will be doing as Night Auditor/Cleaner

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, quiet, and respectable night environment at the hostel in accordance with our policies, procedures, and mission statement. The Night Auditor/Cleaner plays a key role in ensuring guests have a comfortable stay by providing excellent customer service and assisting with their needs in a professional and courteous manner.

This position includes front desk responsibilities such as greeting guests, checking them in and out, handling cash transactions, performing the night audit, and responding to inquiries in person and over the phone. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning public areas, assisting the housekeeping team, and maintaining cleanliness in our café to ensure a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests.

What we look for

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a team member.
• Prior cash management and customer service experience.
• Comfortable working by yourself, and be available to work during the nighttime hours.
