Job summary

HI Calgary City Centre hostel in downtown Calgary is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to maintain a safe, quiet overnight environment in line with our policies and mission. You will greet guests, process check-ins/outs, handle cash, and perform the night audit with a professional, courteous attitude.

The role offers a friendly team, a relaxed work atmosphere, and opportunities to grow within a global hostel network. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and basic payments at a front desk.

What you will be doing as a Night Auditor

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, quiet, respectable night environment at the hostel in accordance with our policies, procedures, and mission statement .

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring guests have a pleasurable stay by meeting their needs in a professional and courteous manner, and by providing excellent customer service.

This position is responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, performing cash transactions, the night audit, and answering questions in person and over the phone.

What we are looking for

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.
• Prior cash management and customer service experience
• Comfortable working by yourself and be available to work overnight
