Job summary

Canadian Hostelling Association's HI Calgary hostel is seeking a Night Auditor to help maintain a safe, quiet overnight environment while delivering friendly guest service.

You will greet guests, check them in and out, perform cash transactions, carry out the night audit, and answer questions in person or over the phone. This role requires overnight availability and the ability to work independently within a supportive team.

What you will be doing as a Night Auditor

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, quiet, respectable night environment at the hostel in accordance with our policies, procedures, and mission statement .

The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring guests have a pleasurable stay by meeting their needs in a professional and courteous manner, and by providing excellent customer service.

This position is responsible for greeting guests, checking them in and out, performing cash transactions, the night audit, and answering questions in person and over the phone.

What we are looking for

• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.
• Prior cash management and customer service experience
• Comfortable working by yourself and be available to work overnight
