Job summary

Carmens Group is seeking a Night Auditor for a part-time, permanent overnight role at The C Hotel in Hamilton. The position offers 11:00 pm to 7:00 am shifts with compensation of $18.50–$20.00 per hour plus a $1 premium for night hours. Prior hotel experience and Smart Serve are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hotel experience (Guest Services Agent or Night Auditor)
• Smart Serve certification required
• Overnight availability 11:00 pm–7:00 am, including weekdays and weekends
• Friendly, professional, and committed to excellent customer service
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A college or university education in hospitality management is an asset
• Experience with hotel property management systems is an asset

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a positive experience
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally
• Review daily records, guest accounts, receipts, and vouchers
• Check in-house guest accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare financial records and reports per Carmens Group procedures
• Advance front desk systems to the next business day
• Address guest concerns with courtesy and professionalism
• Promote rooms and hotel services using effective sales techniques
• Use sound judgment and provide leadership during overnight shifts
