Job summary

Germain Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight guest check-in/check-out, record the day's transactions, and respond to urgent situations with autonomy and empathy.

The role runs from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., offering an opportunity to contribute to security, accuracy of nightly reporting, and seamless handoffs to the morning team. Previous night audit or hotel/accounting experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Autonomy, sense of organization, responsibility and initiative are essential.
• Fluid oral and written communication is required.
• Hotel or accounting background is an asset.
• Night Auditor experience is an asset.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations creatively and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night and be able to make important decisions in emergencies.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that communications with the next morning's team and other departments run smoothly.
