Job summary

Germain Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight guest check-in/check-out, record the day's transactions, and respond to urgent situations with autonomy and empathy.

The role runs from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., offering an opportunity to contribute to security, accuracy of nightly reporting, and seamless handoffs to the morning team. Previous night audit or hotel/accounting experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Autonomy, sense of organization, responsibility and initiative are essential.
• Fluid oral and written communication is required.
• Hotel or accounting background is an asset.
• Night Auditor experience is an asset.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations creatively and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.

Are you a night owl who enjoys working in an unpredictable environment where initiative is an undeniable asset? We're looking for an autonomous Night Auditor with an open and empathetic attitude, who will be responsible for guest arrivals and departures, as well as recording the day's transactions and always being ready to respond to an urgent situation.

This position follows an overnight schedule from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform all night audit accounting tasks, including: reconciling deposits, resolving account chargebacks and producing reports.
• Ensure the security of the premises during the night, which means knowing how to make important decisions in the event of an emergency.
• Check-in and check-out guests, verify and detail them, and ensure that internal activities run smoothly, so that communication with the next morning's work team and colleagues in other departments always runs smoothly.

The hourly rate for this role is $23.19 plus 1$/h night premium , in alignment with internal equity.
