Overview
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Niagara Falls is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team.
The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service throughout the overnight shift while completing the hotel’s daily audit and end-of-day procedures. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently respond to guest needs and situations that may arise overnight.
Duties
- Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours in a friendly and professional manner.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs and process payments accurately.
- Answer incoming calls and assist with guest requests, questions, reservations, and hotel information.
- Perform nightly audit and end-of-day procedures, including reviewing transactions, balancing accounts, and verifying billing accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute required daily reports.
- Review reservations and guest accounts to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and service requests.
- Monitor the property throughout the overnight shift and follow hotel safety and security procedures.
- Communicate important information, guest concerns, and outstanding items to the incoming morning team.
- Assist in preparing the Front Desk and hotel operations for the following business day.
- Follow Marriott brand standards as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Perform additional Front Desk and operational duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel, Front Desk, Night Audit, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with hotel property management systems is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers, payments, and financial transactions.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel systems and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns or unexpected situations.
- Must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
Work Location: In person
