Pomeroy Lodging in British Columbia is seeking a Night Auditor to balance, close the day’s books, and ready the property for the next shift. You will help maximize guest satisfaction while supporting financial targets and safety protocols.

This role requires solid math and bookkeeping abilities, excellent communication, and comfort with hotel systems. Night shifts and occasional days may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk, night audit, or hotel experience is an asset.
• Advanced math and bookkeeping skills are preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with guests and respond to complaints.
• Ensure front desk, lobby, and guest entrance look picture-perfect for first impressions.
• Track arrivals, departures, and daily activities; organize VIP amenities as needed.
• Efficiently book guest reservations by phone, in person, or online.
• Process payments (room charges, cash, checks, debit, credit) and balance batches.
• Complete daily auditing, balancing, and closing procedures accurately.

Job Description

As a Night Auditor, you are accountable for balancing and closing the day's business accurately and timely, preparing the hotel for the next day's operation, and ensuring all our guests and employees' safety. You have the authority to exceed guest expectations and create a lasting positive impression on each guest. Additionally, you will achieve excellence by maximizing room revenue every shift while delivering against key financial goals for the department. Ultimately, you are a key component in making each guest's experience warm, pleasant, and memorable.

Working Conditions

This position will include night shift any day of the week or weekend and the occasional day shift or afternoon or evening shift if needed. This position will require long periods of standing and may require lifting and bending. There will be mostlyindependent, unsupervised work and brief periods of exposure to cold air due to the location of the front desk.
