Job summary

RONA in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a dedicated Receiving and Handling team member to turn every incoming delivery into a smooth, accurate product flow and to ensure shelves stay stocked with the right items.

The role emphasizes careful attention to detail, safe forklift operation, and adherence to health and safety standards while supporting store operations and customer service. The company offers extensive training and relocation of duties within the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Health and safety in the workplace
• Proficiency with material handling equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
