Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a new graduate to support environmental projects across multiple disciplines, including acoustics, air quality and water resources.

You will assist with fieldwork, data analysis and reporting while gaining exposure to contaminated-site assessment and remediation practices. The role emphasizes collaboration, client communication and safety, with a hybrid working culture and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Graduating in 2027.
  • Willingness to work in office and field environments, including travel to project sites.

Your role
  • Acoustics, air quality, vibrations and climate change: Support air quality studies, emissions monitoring, and data analysis including assisting with acoustics and noise assessments.
  • Assessment and remediation of contaminated sites: Support environmental site assessments and remediation through field investigations, environmental sampling, monitoring programs and technical reporting.
  • Environmental assessments and community involvement: Contribute to environmental compliance, preparing mitigation plans and assessment for a variety of projects.
  • Hydrology: Support hydrology and water resource projects through fieldwork, data analysis, and reporting.
About you

New graduate with a bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (graduating in 2027). Strong interest in environmental consulting, site assessment and remediation, air quality, and acoustics. Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills. Willingness to work in both office and field environments, including travel to project sites as required. Currently holds a Valid Canadian driver's license. Note: While graduates from a variety of environmental disciplines are encouraged to apply, candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background may be particularly suited for opportunities within our Air Quality and Acoustics team.

Expected compensation

Pay Range $61,900 - $80,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
