Job description

Our client is seeking an on-site intermediate Network Support Analyst to provide day-to-day administration, management, and support of the site/plant LAN/WAN infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate, maintain, and support the site/plant LAN/WAN infrastructure and associated service objects, including LAN drops/access points for end-user devices such as desktops, printers, multifunction printers, plotters, scanners, wireless nodes, and mobile devices, according to defined service levels.
2. Support network design and architectural planning.
3. Provide technical support for video conferencing.
4. Support VOIP network telephony systems.
5. Support wireless network infrastructure.
6. Manage all LAN/WAN services in an integrated, managed fashion.
7. Implement software patches, upgrades, or hardware/software refreshes.
8. Plan network changes in coordination with third-party vendors.
9. Serve as the single point of accountability for coordinating responses and restoring LAN/WAN service requests, and resolving performance issues.
10. Monitor, log, and analyze key system metrics related to network availability, latency, utilization, and memory usage using TCP/IP tools and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Cisco-related certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCSP).
• Cisco/Tandberg-related certifications (TCAP, TCEP).
• Proven record of continuous improvement.
• 5+ years of experience as a Network Support Analyst, specifically with Cisco equipment.
