Job summary

Intelcom internship offering hands-on experience in network monitoring and operations. You will work on real projects, gain practical skills, and explore long-term career opportunities in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.

You will assist in daily monitoring, evaluate needs for new stations, help maintain data integrity, and document processes. You will support peak periods and coordinate with pan-Canadian stakeholders under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Adaptable and a catalyst for change.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily network monitoring by tracking operations and reporting any discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in evaluating the needs when opening new stations, helping analyze optimal solutions with various stakeholders (finance, line transport, operations).
  • Help maintain the integrity of network parameters (e.g., transit times, sorting times, etc.) by ensuring regular data updates.
  • Participate in creating and updating technical documentation within the team's repository.
  • Provide support during peak periods, acting as a point of contact for troubleshooting the internal network, under supervision.
  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
