Beanfield seeks a Network Geospatial Planning Specialist based in Toronto to advance residential and commercial fiber expansion. You will oversee geospatial data management, architecture development, and integration of data across systems to support Beanfield's growth in Ontario.
You will lead GIS-driven analyses, drive data quality, and collaborate with design, sales, and IT teams to align five-year expansion plans with strategic objectives.

The Network Planning Geospatial & Data Specialist – Residential & Commercial, reporting to the Manager of Network Geospatial Planning, plays a key role in advancing residential expansion initiatives, network segmentation, customer data gathering and optimization strategies to support Beanfield's growth in the Ontario market. This position requires a deep technical expertise in geospatial data management, with a focus on aligning network expansion efforts with optimal utilization of fiber assets ensuring achieving Beanfield's long term goals.
Based in Toronto, the Specialist through customer data gathering, will oversee the architecture development, Geospatial analysis, and assist in the implementation of Beanfield's immediate and long term five year network plan. The role will focus on system growth, capacity planning, and contribute to the integration of corporate automation to enhance fiber design, ultimately driving the expansion of Beanfield's residential and commercial national footprint, supporting continued business growth.
Responsible for the development and comprehensive network review aimed at yearly delivery of strategic regional growth plans that includes detailed deployment projections, sales feedback loops, Federal/Municipal/Utility Capital Works Inputs
Support management in the preparation of effective long-term fiber overbuilds and network extension plans.
Collaborate with design teams across all our markets to develop and enhance integrated network plans based on data analysis.
Set network deployment and fibre route plans in accordance with geospatial analysis and set strategy well-founded business cases.
Work with internal Sales & Marketing teams on complex bids/orders that involve fiber builds and/or network expansion. This may include field investigation, budgeting, and high-level route maps.
Collaborate with all regions to ensure National Network Planning alignment on process and procedures.
Prepare and deliver processes, reports, recommendations, or alternatives as it relates to Network Planning objectives and functions.
Work cross-functionally in the pursuit of improved network planning processes with the use of geospatial, topographical analysis, and Layer 1 network models.
Scope projects and assist the Planning, Design, and Implementation team in developing cost and time-saving solutions involving GIS outputs.

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. The salary range indicated includes a Short Term Incentive Plan ('STIP') which represents a percentage of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The STIP payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The STIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the STIP's eligibility requirements.
