Job summary

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for neonatal care. You will provide high‑quality nursing for complex newborns within a patient‑ and family‑centred care framework, collaborating with an interprofessional team.

Applicants should hold an Ontario RN license, BCLS, and demonstrate neonatal critical care experience, including cardio‑respiratory monitoring and central venous line management.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• BCLS certification.
• Recent neonatal nursing experience with complex populations.
• Experience with cardio-respiratory monitoring in critical care.
• Ability to apply the nursing process to individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to neonatal patients including complex populations.
• Work within PFCC framework with an interprofessional team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for each patient.
• Manage multiple nursing interventions and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate on centralized venous line management when needed.
