WHERE YOU COME IN

We are seeking a National Development Coordinator to support our national development portfolio, including grants, foundations, and corporate development.

This role involves engaging donors through fundraising, coordinating with the Donor Care Team, managing data and reports in our CRM, and assisting with partnership requests and deliverables such as grants and in-kind contributions.

This position is based in Pickering or Toronto, is full-time, permanent, hybrid.

What You Will Do

Data Management Support (25%)
  • Manage and track partnerships and campaign deliverables in Salesforce.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timely updates on donors.
  • Prepare reports and become proficient in our CRM system.
  • Support campaign pages on P2P platforms like Donor Drive.
  • Manage the full cycle of fundraising data in the CRM.
Fundraising and Stewardship Support (50%)
  • Coordinate donor acknowledgements, gift processing, recognition, and partner mailings.
  • Assist with grant applications and develop development materials.
  • Support projects like mass emails and donor recognition lists.
  • Research prospects and prepare briefs for meetings.
  • Engage with external stakeholders at events.
Administrative Support (25%)
  • Provide administrative and communication support, including meeting coordination and social media.
  • Maintain prospect and partner records.
  • Manage inventory of fundraising materials.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Fundraising, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years in fundraising, with experience in events, campaigns, and volunteer work; supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and data reporting skills.
  • Comfort speaking to groups.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Canva.
  • Experience with databases and training others on their use.
  • Reliable transportation for onsite visits and meetings.
  • Clear criminal background check required.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid model (2 days in-office, 3 days remote) with occasional outside hours and travel within GTA.

Physical/Mental Effort

  • Work under pressure with tight deadlines and high workload.
  • Physical activity may include lifting and setting up equipment.
