About the MALE Program

The M otivation& A ssistance for L ife E mpowerment (MALE) Program is a new not-for-profit organization based in Toronto, Ontario. Our aim is to support young men aged 18–29 across Ontario in achieving independence and creating a brighter, more fulfilling future. Through therapeutic services, life skills training, career guidance, and mentorship, the MALE Program helps participants transition confidently into adulthood.

The program aims to officially begin operations in September, and this role is crucial to securing the resources required for its successful launch.

Role Overview

The Temporary Marketing/Fundraising Officer will focus on building awareness and raising funds to support the MALE Program's launch. It is ideal for a self-motivated individual or a recently graduated student seeking an impactful role, with the potential to transition into a paid full-time position as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing:

  • Assisting with developing and executing creative marketing strategies to promote the MALE Program and attract donors.
  • Assisting with creating content for social media platforms, newsletters, and digital outreach campaigns.
  • Assisting with designing eye-catching promotional materials, including flyers and banners, for fundraising initiatives.
  • Assisting with establishing relationships with media outlets and influencers to boost program visibility.
  • Assisting with organizing and coordinating fundraising events and campaigns to support the program's financial goals.
  • Assisting with researching and identifying potential sponsors, donors, and grant opportunities.
  • Assisting with crafting persuasive pitches and fundraising appeals to secure financial contributions.
  • Partner with the Executive Director to align marketing and fundraising efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Build relationships with businesses, community leaders, and organizations to foster financial support and awareness of the program's mission.

Qualifications

  • Experience or strong interest in marketing, communications, or fundraising.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness in crafting campaigns and fundraising strategies.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for supporting young men and contributing to a meaningful cause.
