Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business (BComm, BAdmin, or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of experience in business lending, financial analysis, commercial banking, or related field.
• Demonstrate strong financial analysis and credit writing skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Copilot, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements, business plans, valuations, and CIMs.
• Structure and package competitive financing solutions for commercial clients.
• Prepare credit applications with strong risk assessment, due diligence, and credit presentation.
• Support Commercial Credit Underwriters with credit adjudication and portfolio management.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing customer relationships.
• Apply pricing models to maximize profitability and meet pricing thresholds.
• Monitor portfolios and support timely renewals of commercial credits.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies and industry codes of conduct.
• Provide recommendations on credit decisions to the Manager of Business Development.
