Job summary

First National Financial in Calgary is seeking a Senior Analyst, Commercial Financing to contribute to the production and development of the commercial mortgage portfolio. You will analyze financial documents on incoming applications and ensure alignment with policies for CMHC, construction and conventional real estate lending.

Qualifications

Experience in commercial real estate lending is a must.
2-3 years’ CMHC and construction financing experience required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related commercial real estate role.
Knowledge of applicable real estate lending regulations.
Advanced PC skills, with emphasis on Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial information on commercial properties to determine loan size, terms, conditions and pricing.
Review third party reports to ensure compliance with investor requirements and loan terms.
Prepare loan summaries and financial analyses to aid loan approvals.
Coordinate with funders, investors, legal and consultants to satisfy loan conditions.
Mentor team members and uphold AML procedures.
