Job summary

First Nations Bank of Canada seeks a Senior Commercial Banking Analyst – National to provide analytical and credit support to the National Business Development team from our Saskatoon and nationwide offices. You will assist Commercial Credit Underwriters, analyse financials and CIMs, and structure competitive financing solutions for commercial clients while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business (BComm, BAdmin, or equivalent) required.
• 2–5 years of experience in business lending, financial analysis, commercial banking, or related field.
• Strong financial analysis and credit writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Copilot, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Professionalism, initiative, and a desire to learn and grow.

About The Roles

As a Senior Commercial Banking Analyst – National, you will provide analytical and credit support to the National Business Development team. You will assist Commercial Credit Underwriters in managing customer risk, preparing high-quality credit applications, conducting financial analysis, and developing competitive lending solutions that meet customer needs while adhering to Bank policies and procedures.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity at our Saskatoon branch.

You Must:

• Be proficient with Microsoft Copilot, Excel, and Word
• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Have the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a strong desire to learn and grow
