Qualifications

• You hold a Canadian CPA designation or an equivalent international designation.
• Public accounting experience in audit and assurance or technical accounting, including experience serving public companies, private companies, or both, and operating at a manager or senior manager level.
• Advanced proficiency in IFRS Accounting Standards/US GAAP, including the ability to research, analyze and communicate complex accounting matters.
• Broad industry experience across clients and sectors.
• Experience researching, documenting, and presenting technical accounting positions to partners and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication with senior professionals and ability to facilitate discussions.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple complex consultations and priorities.
• Demonstrates teamwork, leadership, and commitment to inclusion and kindness.

Responsabilités

• Support engagement teams on IFRS and US GAAP matters for public and private companies.
• Provide practical, high-impact technical accounting guidance.
• Research relevant standards and guidance and translate them into actionable conclusions.
• Develop and maintain practical guidance, templates, tools, and communications.
• Design and present technical learning sessions for assurance professionals and clients.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into action.
• Coach partners and assurance teams and manage numerous consultations.
