Multy LP is a leading global manufacturer of floor covering and outdoor living products. With manufacturing and distribution facilities in Canada, Poland and the U.S.A. We create beautiful, eco-friendly, useful products for homes and gardens everywhere.

Position Summary

The National Account Representative (NAR) partners closely with the Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that leverage the company’s brand portfolio to drive revenue and profit growth. This role supports the long-term success of key accounts by creating and implementing effective action plans, promotional programs, and joint business strategies.

The NAR collaborates with both internal cross-functional teams and external category partners to build and strengthen relationships with buyers, ensuring alignment on objectives and delivering best-in-class results across all channels.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships at the buyer and senior buyer levels, while fostering cross-functional collaboration with Product Development, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
  • Develop annual sales strategies in partnership with the Director of Sales, including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and comprehensive business plans to drive sustainable growth.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to successfully deliver on annual sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Plan and support the execution of Product Line Reviews (PLRs), ensuring alignment with Joint Business Plans (JBP), marketing strategies, and financial objectives, including P&L considerations.
  • Consistently deliver business results while upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Maximize product availability across appropriate distribution channels in alignment with brand strategy, with a strong focus on flawless execution of new product launches.
  • Execute consumer- and shopper-driven strategies tailored to customer needs, enabling best-in‑class performance and category growth.
  • Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to identify opportunities for innovation, assortment optimization, and business expansion.
  • Provide detailed sales performance analysis, translating data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting to meet customer fill-rate expectations and maintain optimal in-stock levels across accounts.
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, as well as weekly and monthly performance reports to track progress and inform decision-making.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to strengthen market position.
  • Support and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure all duties are performed in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations, as well as company health, safety, environmental, and quality policies.
  • Collaborate with team members to support and achieve overall company training and development objectives.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by Department Management or their designate.

Education & Experience
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of sales experience, including National Account Management and Club channel exposure (e.g., Costco, Sam’s Club).
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic sales planning, account development, and execution.
  • Experience managing key accounts, developing joint business plans, and executing promotional strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with buyers, distributors, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Skilled in negotiation, influencing, and delivering impactful sales presentations.
  • Solid understanding of distribution channels and market expansion strategies.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
