Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Project Engineer for our Infrastructure team in Western Canada. You will work on municipal, water and wastewater projects across Alberta and Saskatchewan, collaborating with engineers and multiple disciplines in a hybrid Calgary-based role.

You will mentor junior staff, help manage scope, budgets and schedules, and contribute to client relationships across Canada. This is a dynamic, growth-focused opportunity with mentorship and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta.
• Minimum 5 years of municipal engineering experience.
• Experience supporting projects across small to large consulting efforts.
• Strong integrity, teamwork and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams through all phases of municipal projects (planning, design, construction, commissioning).
• Collaborate with structural, electrical, mechanical, architectural and civil experts to deliver projects.
• Assist with project resources, schedule, budget, quality and risk management.
• Prepare studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and cost estimates.
• Assist in pursuing new projects with scope, schedule and budgeting plans.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, regulators and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and mentor junior staff in project delivery and management.
