CIMA+ is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Municipal Water Infrastructure team. You will support delivering high-quality water and wastewater projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations and standards.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 8 years of relevant technical and project experience within consulting, specifically in municipal water/wastewater systems.
• Eligible for or registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario and/or other provinces.
• Strong technical background in water and wastewater systems, with experience across project phases.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience in client coordination.
• Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management and delivery of preliminary and detailed designs for municipal water and wastewater servicing projects.
• Lead technical work packages on multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating work with technical teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, health and safety, and risk management requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
• Assisting with timely preparation of invoices and supporting project financial tracking.
• Proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff and designers.
• Supporting business development activities, including preparing technical components for proposals and project pursuits.
