Job summary

Corporate Compass Group Canada is seeking a General Manager in Ontario to oversee all aspects of operations, budgeting, and program implementation for retail and catering services. You will direct staff, manage financial reporting, and ensure service levels, food quality, and customer relations meet contract requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of foodservice or related management experience in an equivalent branded retail food service environment.
• Multi-unit management experience is a must.
• Strong catering experience in large events.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and day-to-day operation to meet contractual service levels across administration, staffing, client relations, service and food quality.
• Prepare and deliver financial reporting including payroll, summaries, and sales reports; manage budgets and inventory controls.
• Oversee HR and Labour Relations, including personnel files and collective agreements.
• Assist with menu management, food cost controls, and production while ensuring quality and quantity standards.
• Train and develop associates to provide excellent customer service and operate the unit effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Compass Quality Assurance and Health & Safety Programs; enforce HR policies.
