Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a District Manager for Resident Food and Environmental Services in the GTA area. You will lead on-site operations, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with nutrition and safety standards across multiple sites.

The role requires strong leadership, healthcare experience, and the ability to manage budgets and audits while traveling as needed. Competitive compensation is offered with benefits and incentive options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Food Service Management and/or Environmental Services experience in healthcare.
• Strong leadership and the ability to supervise multiple sites.
• Canadian Society of Nutrition Management membership required.
• Valid driver's license and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the nutritional and therapeutic requirements through menu planning and standardized recipes.
• Maintain excellent client relationships and high customer satisfaction that promotes account retention.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of resident preferences and adapt service delivery.
• Support on-site management in implementing Compass programs and staff training.
• Support new business through sales, analysis, operational reviews, and formal reports.
• Implement a Food Safety Plan including HACCP, WHMIS and WSIB/WCB regulations; adhere to audit procedures.
• Visit client locations to observe operations and ensure standards.
