Job summary

Friday Harbour Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to perform general building and property maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanics.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facilities across indoor and outdoor environments while following safety and preventative maintenance programs. The role requires 2–4 years of maintenance experience and basic computer literacy; trade training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in maintenance or general labour.
• Formal maintenance training or trade certification is an asset.
• Knowledge of standard building trades and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities and equipment.
• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read work orders and manuals to perform maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and inspections.
