Job summary

City Wide Facility Solutions Vancouver is seeking a reliable and experienced handyman for full-time maintenance across commercial properties in the Vancouver area. The role involves a broad range of light repairs, carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical tasks as well as furniture assembly and projects.

Applicants should have proven handyman or general maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with facility managers and teams.

Qualifications

• Proven handyman or general maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently.
• Strong communication when interacting with clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman and light maintenance services, including minor repairs (doors, hardware, drywall, trim, fixtures, etc.).
• Basic carpentry and installations; ceiling tile replacement.
• Light plumbing repairs (faucets, leaks, fixtures) and light electrical work (fixtures, switches, outlets - as permitted).
• Furniture assembly and installation; complete service calls, punch-list items, and small projects.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and general upkeep across multiple commercial sites.
• Coordinate with facility managers and internal team; respond to urgent service requests.
• Maintain time effectively; manage multiple service types in one visit.
