Job summary

JUST HR in Richmond, BC is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own day-to-day HR operations and support employees and leaders across Richmond, Delta, and Surrey. Reporting to the Director of HR, you will handle employee relations, compliance, health and safety, talent programs, and HR projects while driving process improvements and mentoring junior team members.

The role requires 5–7 years of HR generalist experience, a Bachelor's in HR or related field, and knowledge of BC Employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards and WorkSafeBC.
• Experience supporting multiple sites (Richmond, Delta, Surrey).
• CPHR designation is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key HR resource for managers and employees, providing guidance on policies and HR matters.
• Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, discipline, and terminations.
• Provide HR support across multiple locations with periodic on-site coverage.
• Maintain BC employment legislation compliance and health and safety standards.
• Review and improve HR policies and employee documentation.
• Oversee benefits administration, retirement programs, disability management, and leaves.
• Support recruitment for specialized positions and onboarding/offboarding programs.
• Prepare HR reporting on turnover, absenteeism, and compensation data.
• Identify gaps in HR processes and implement improvements.
• Support junior HR team members and participate in HR projects.
