Job summary

Madison Pacific Properties Inc. is seeking a Building Manager to oversee daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations for a portfolio of multi-family buildings. The role focuses on maintaining safe, compliant properties and coordinating with contractors for repairs and improvements.

Candidate should have 3+ years of related experience, strong project management and negotiation skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to enhance tenant experiences and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations for a portfolio of multi-family buildings.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, capital improvements, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor building expenses and budgets to maximize occupancy and retention.
• Ensure safety compliance with lighting, signage, accessibility, and safety systems.
• Draft and update emergency plans and evacuation procedures as needed.
• Schedule and supervise maintenance, janitorial services, and contractor work.
