Bridgewater Bank is seeking a Manager, Mortgage Underwriting to lead our underwriting team, oversee credit adjudication quality, and partner with Business Development Managers and Mortgage Broker partners to support growth.

You will coach Underwriters and Mortgage Associates, ensure consistent policies, manage workflows, and drive operational excellence while delivering best-in-class service to internal and external stakeholders.

Formación

• 5+ years of mortgage experience in the alternative mortgage market.
• 2+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• 1+ year of leadership, coaching, or management experience.
• Knowledge of AML/ATF practices and fraud indicators.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Underwriters and Mortgage Associates.
• Oversee underwriting workflows, policies, and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers and Mortgage Broker partners.
• Provide escalation guidance on complex credit applications and risk reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement of underwriting processes and customer experience.
