Job summary

BMO is seeking a Mortgage Specialist to cultivate and grow a pipeline of home financing opportunities. You will manage a referral network, identify sales opportunities, and coordinate credit applications with internal partners to ensure timely fulfillment.

You will provide exceptional service, market awareness, and guidance on banking products while supporting the Mortgage Specialist in maintaining strong client relationships and achieving business goals.

Qualifications

• Typically 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study or equivalent education/experience.
• Working knowledge of personal lending and mortgage products and services.
• Strong relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates and manages relationships with a referral network to build a pipeline of mortgage business.
• Identifies sales opportunities and refers to BMO colleagues as appropriate.
• Develops and executes marketing and sales programs to drive business results.
• Inputs and coordinates credit applications with internal partners and customers to ensure documentation meets terms.
• Provides administrative support and maintains a marketing calendar; tracks referrals and mortgage originations.
