Job summary

BMO Mortgage Specialist in Canada enables customers to realize home ownership dreams through expert guidance, strong referrals, and targeted sales initiatives. You will build and manage a referral network, coordinate with branch teams, and provide exceptional service throughout mortgage applications and closings.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, proactive marketing, regulatory compliance, and a client-focused approach, with full training and opportunities to grow within a national banking

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in French and English; supports clients and team members inside/outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Cultivates, builds, and manages referral networks to create a pipeline of mortgage business.
• Develops and executes marketing and sales programs to drive results.
• Guides customers through mortgage applications and processing with service excellence.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities and refers to BMO partners as appropriate.
• Ensures compliant processes and customer satisfaction throughout the journey.
